National unity consensus required to steer the country out of crisis Firdous

ISLAMABAD Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr.Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Thursday that national unity, consensus and coordination are required to steer the country out of crisis. Talking to media outside the parliament, she said “Country’s present situation demanded unity, consensus and coordination among the all political forces to steer the country out of the challenges and we have to carry forward the process of reconciliation started by the Pakistan Peoples Party for the better future of the country.”
The Minister said PPP believe to take all the political parties onboard on all national issues for resolution of masses problems and to cope with challenges facing the country.
She said PPP does not believe in confrontation and revenge rather it has opened the door of harmony. Joining the government by the two political parties PML-Q and MQM will strengthen the parliament and democraticinstitutions. 
All these parties will work together to provide relief to masses, she said and added that strong parliament and political stability are guarantee of strong economy. 
To a question she said PPP is in power due to people of Pakistan and has not come to power from back doors.
About Osama’s killing she said the death of Al-Qaeda chief is milestone in war against terrorism. To a question she said the statement on Osama’s killing was issued after the consultation with all the stakeholders.  She said Foreign Office was working under command of president and prime minister and it could not issue any statement without consulting the two leaders.
Dr.Firdous Ashiq Awan said the western media has always remained involved in false propaganda against Pakistan.
To a question she said Pakistan has reservations and concerns over the operation conducted by the US forces inside the country. However, she expressed the hope that leadership of the two countries will sit together andsought out the solution of these problems.
To a question the Minister said Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty as people are very sensitive on this issue.        
Pakistan has rendered unmatched sacrifices in war against terrorism and these have been appreciated by the international community. 
Terrorism and extremism are the name of thoughts and ideology and the government is fighting against the menaces with full strengthen.
