BRIDGETOWN: West Indies elected to bowl first in the fourth one-day international (ODI) against Pakistan in Bridgetown, Barbados on Monday.
West Indies face the prospect of a whitewash, after having lost the five-match series already on Thursday.
Both teams made two changes each to their teams that played the third ODI. West Indies replaced leg-spinner Andre Russell with wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh, while experienced batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan comes in for Devon Smith.
With the series win completed, Pakistan have handed ODI debuts to Usman Salauddin, replacing Umar Akmal, and medium-pace bowler Tanvir Ahmed, who replaces left-arm bowler Wahab Riaz.
Pakistan lead the five match series 3-0, following an eight-wicket victory in the first ODI two Saturdays ago at the Beausejour Cricket Ground in St. Lucia, where they also won the second ODI by seven wickets last Monday, while they took a series-clinching, three-wicket victory in the ODI last Thursday at this venue.
The victories meant that Pakistan have now won their last eight ODIs against West Indies spread over the last four years, including their 10-wicket victory in a recent World Cup quarter-final in Bangladesh.
The final ODI will be played on Thursday at the Guyana National Stadium.
