Violence erupts as MQM worker killed in Karachi

KARACHI: A member of the MQM organising committee Farooq Baig was shot dead in the Bagh-e-Korangi area of Karachi on Monday.

Following the killing, violence erupted in several parts of the city and at least three people were killed while over a dozen cars were set ablaze.
MQM leader Altaf Hussain said Monday that the killing of Baig was a conspiracy to destablise the city.
