BRUSSELS Sijjad Saeed, first Pakistani and Azad Kashmiri PhD scholar working with German organization for measuring weather changes has said that north regions including Pakistan and Azad Kashmir would face intense weather changes due to global warming.
In an expulsive interview with “SANA” he said that intensive rains can create flood like situation and same times worst time can be came due to lack of rains in the area, adding that small dams are very necessary to tackle this kind of situation to use rain water in difficult times.
He said that global warming is changing balance of weathers and in the different regions of the world by getting intensity in both forms.
Sijjad Saeed said that level of water is decreasing in the entire world; Pakistan and Azad Kashmir are facing the same problem, and if small dams are not constructed then till 2025 may Pakistan entirely became dependent on other countries for food.
Sijaad Saeed belongs to tehsil Rawlakot and after completing his MSC degree in physics, he joined department of metrologies and now working as Deputy Director in Islamabad.
He received scholarship for Germany and doing his PhD on “weather changes and their affects on Asian moon soon”, his many research papers are published in international journals and he presented his research work in many international conferences in several countries.
