Karachi: 21 injured in grenade attack near hotel


At least 21 people have been injured in a grenade attack on hotel on Napier road in Karachi.

Unidentified men riding on a motorbike threw a home-made hand grenade at the hotel and fled. Police and rangers cordoned off the area and closed all shops in the area.The injured people were taken to the Jinnah Hospital for medical assistance. According to the police, the hotel was closed at the time of the attack but a few people were present who were busy gambling.On the other hand, residents of the area said that due to the load shedding a few people were present at the hotel and were targeted by the unidentified miscreants.
