Hillary's visit helped remove misunderstandings: FO


Pakistan’s foreign office spokesperson said that relations with US have recently been bumpy.

Briefing the media in Islamabad, Pakistan Foreign office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said that in the meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the issue of drone attacks and national sovereignty was raised.


The Foreign Office spokesperson said that strategic dialogue with the US would not be suspended. She said that Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United States would again get together in June to resume talks.


Tehmina Janjua said that that 12th round of talks between Pakistan and India on Siachen issue would begin in New Delhi on May 30 till May 31. Defence secretaries of both the countries would attend the meeting. She said that Pakistan has also sought clarification on the wanted fugitive list.


She also said that Pakistan wanted to resolve all outstanding issues with India through the dialogue process.
