CIA team searches Osama's compound

The CIA team spends several hours in compound and found “trove of information”.

A Central Investigation Agency (CIA) team, consisting of forensic experts, reached Osama bin Laden’s compound by helicopter on Friday afternoon and launched the searched operation until 6pm.

According to sources, the Osama’s compound was being searched while US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was busy in talks with Pakistani authorities in Islamabad.

The CIA team collected the ‘trove of information” which the US Navy SEALs had missed during the operation in which Osama bin Laden was killed on May 2.

A CIA official had requested for access to the Osama’s compound during his visit to Pakistan last week.
