Public suffer worst ever load shedding

ISLAMABAD: Poor people are suffering from the menace of unprecedented power outages because VVIPs enjoy facilities of generators, UPS and other alternatives to stay cool and uninterrupted.

Pepco sources told that the worst ever kind of unannounced electricity load shedding is being exercised on all domestic and commercial feeders but there is no sign of outages in VVIP areas.

Sources said that President House, Prime Minister House, Governor House, Chief Minister Civil Secretariat and Army areas are enjoying 24-hours continuous power supply.

Although Pepco officials have informed government that the company is left with no other option but observing load shedding because of power shortfall that has risen to 6000 Megawatt a day on all grid stations and feeders but no positive response seen yet.

Engineer Mohammed Khalid, DG Pepco, told that the company is observing load shedding on all feeders alike however power of VVIP buildings runs on generators and UPS during hours of load shedding.
