Mujahid squad nab 443 criminals

LAHORE: Mujahid Squad caught 443 criminals and registered 310 cases in the crackdown against proclaimed offenders, court absconders, drug sellers and gamblers during March.

The squad also arrested 41 proclaimed offenders and 46 court absconders during this period, Mujahid Squad sources told .

During its drive against drug pushers the police registered 202 cases, recovered 19 Kg hash as well as 418 bottles of liquor. The police registered 89 cases against illegal weapons holders, recovered 61 pistols and 13 pump action rifles.

Meanwhile, during a crackdown against kite flyers/sellers gamblers, the Mujahid squad registered 39 cases against alleged accused and recovered stake money, cell phones from outlaws, sources added.
