ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi’s meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari on a dinner reception is underway here at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
According to sources, the meeting is mulling over formation of coalition government in federation, featuring induction of PML-Q’s ministers and other political issues are under discussion.
Earlier, PML-Q’s parliamentarians held a high-level meeting at the residence of party chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain before stepping into President House Camp.
Sources said that most parliamentarians have left the decision of PML-Q’s joining the coalition government with party chief Shujaat Hussain, however, some lawmakers voiced concern over forming alliance with PPP.
Amid meeting with President Zardari, Shujaat Hussain said that the final decision would be announced after PML-Q’s party meeting later on.
He said all party members would be taken under confidence before announcement of PML-Q’s becoming part of coalition government in center.
Chaudhry Shujaat, on the other day, declined media reports regarding PML-Q’s alliance with PPP.
